The Lexington Police Department has made an arrest in a fatal shooting that occurred at a home on Rambling Creek Drive. Jaquan O. St. Louis, 25, is charged with Reckless Homicide.
Police were called to a home in the 700-block of Rambling Creek Drive around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 8 for a reported shooting. Officers located a 20-year-old man inside the home suffering a gunshot wound to the neck. He was transported to the hospital and later died.
The Fayette County Coroner’s office has identified the victim as Gregory Lee Miller, Jr. of Lexington.
Through the course of the investigation, detectives learned that St. Louis thought the gun was unloaded when he unintentionally shot Miller.
