Six killed in I-75 collision, witnesses asked to contact police

The Lexington Police Department is asking the public for information regarding a fatal collision that killed six people.

At approximately 2:30 a.m. Sunday, January 6, 2019, officers responded to an injury collision on I-75 north near the 107.0 mile marker, approximately one mile before the Man o’ War Blvd exit. Just prior to the collision occurring, the Division of E-911 received reports of a white pickup truck traveling in the wrong direction in the northbound lanes of I-75.
