Lexington Loves Trees sticker contest

For Tree Week 2022, Lexington's Tree Board is hosting a sticker contest for kids and adults! The theme for your artistic inspiration is "Lexington Loves Trees"!

Maybe you love climbing trees, reading a good book under a tree or gathering apples for a pie. Whatever it is, the Lexington Tree Board wants you to design a 3-inch circle or 3-inch square sticker to share that love with the rest of Lexington.

There will be two tiers of participation: "Kids" will be in grade 8 and younger; "Adults" will be in freshman year of high school and older. The top ten will be selected by the Tree Board from each tier and posted online for community voting!

At the close of community voting, winners will be chosen: one from the adult category and one from the kids' category. The stickers will be printed in time for Reforest the Bluegrass in April.

Voting is now open!

Vote for your favorite sticker. The winning sticker will be passed out at the 2023 Reforest the Blugrass.

Paper Templates

We have some templates for you if you'd like to design your sticker on paper! The templates are twice the size of the eventual sticker. The stickers will be either a 3-inch circle or a 3-inch square but designing them at 6-inches helps ensure we don't lose detail when digitizing them.
