Parent and Guardian Empowerment (PAGE)

Parent and Guardian Empowerment assists young people in reaching their highest potential by offering free positive opportunities and programs for youth. PAGE strives to help parents/guardians to gain the support, skills and confidence they need to guide and motivate their youth while reducing conflict. In turn, the parents/guardians feel empowered.

Experienced social workers work with each family to assess challenges and problems, then develop a service plan with the goal of preventing future behavior issues and reducing the chances of conflict with family, peers and charges filed in juvenile court.

Case Management Services

Assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, monitors, and evaluates the options and services required to meet the client's human service needs

Family Nurturing Program

A family-centered trauma-informed initiative designed to build nurturing parenting skills as an alternative to abusive and neglecting parenting and child-rearing practices.

Referrals to Partner Agencies

Involves sending a client to another agency for ongoing management of a specific problem.

Social History Needs Assessment

Focuses on and describes the social aspects of the clients functioning and their situation. Social workers are particularly concerned about the match between client needs and the resources available to meet those needs

GAIN-I Assessment

A standardized bio-psycho-social assessment designed to help clinicians gather information for diagnosis, placement, and treatment planning

The Gainesway Community Center offers programs for residents of the Gainesway community, 40517 area code.

Activities include:

  • Afterschool Program
  • Summer Camp for 5th – 8th grade students
  • Karate Class
  • Game room
  • Spring Break Camp
  • No School fun Days (10 a.m. – 4 p.m.)
  • Community garden
  • Enrichment programs (drumming, tumbling, Power of Words, arts and crafts, field trips …etc.)
