Risk Management

Risk Management's role is to provide LFUCG departments and divisions with services to protect their productive resources, reduce their risk costs and promote their image among citizens and visitors to Lexington.

  • Risk Management provides the following services:
  • Property & casualty insurance procurement 
  • Perform risk assessments/identification 
  • Perform exposure analysis (man-made and natural) 
  • Provide statistical analysis 
  • Provide cost of risk benchmarking 
  • Conduct loss prevention surveys 
  • Consult on LFUCG Comprehensive Health & Safety Plan 
  • Consult with divisions on OSHA compliance 
  • Chair Accident Review Committee 
  • Member Emergency Preparedness Taskforce Committee 
  • Coordinate business continuity planning
  • Development & training for employees on specialized safety programs (i.e. defensive driving – NSC, hearing conservation, etc.)

ADA Transition Plan
