Council District 9, Jennifer Mossotti

Councilmember Jennifer Mossotti, District 9Jennifer Mossotti was re-elected to once again serve the 9th District in Lexington in 2018. Jennifer is a high energy community leader, a tireless public servant and a relentless advocate for good public policy. For the past 15 years, she has been a professional real estate agent; both residential and commercial.

She has a well-earned reputation for being a strong voice for her constituents and has been awarded the Fayette County Neighborhood Council’s Neighborhood Hero Award.  Independent in her voting, Councilmember Mossotti is one the most experienced and knowledgeable Councilmembers presently serving on the Council. She has been recognized for her overall political leadership by the National Foundation for Women Legislators.

Jennifer is married to Ron Mossotti, President of Hammond Communications Group in Lexington and has three children and three adorable grandchildren. She enjoys gardening and horseback riding in her free time.

Councilmember Mossotti represents the 9th Council District of Lexington which is comprised of a portion of Clemens Heights/Clemens Grove, and Copper Run, Copperfield, Higbee Mill, Magnolia Run, Monticello, Pickway Corner, Pinnacle, Plantation, Robinwood, Southpoint, Stone Creek, Stonewall Community, Stonewall Equestrian, Wellington, Willow Bend, Willow Oak, Wyndham Downs, Wyndham Meadows, and Wyndham Ridge neighborhoods.

In addition, the 9th District includes Jessie Clark Middle School, Stonewall Elementary, Wellington Elementary, Shillito Park, Wellington Park, Stonewall Park, Higbee Mill Park, Clemens Park, Southpoint Park, Waverly Park, Waveland Museum, Fayette Mall, and Fire Station #15.
