From dawn to dusk May 15 – 19, patrons can watch some of the nations’ top handlers participate in one of the longest-running and most prestigious dog trials in the country. More than 600 dog and handler teams from around the United States and other countries are expected to participate.
This type of herding competition was made famous by the movie ‘Babe’, and has drawn thousands of dog handlers and spectators to the region over the past 57 years.
Spectators can bring their own dogs (on leashes) and are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. The event will feature several raffles and concessions will be available for purchase. Photography is allowed.
