The William Wells Brown Community Center presents “Knowledge in the Neighborhood.” In honor of Black History Month, the William Wells Brown Community Center will honor some famous African Americans past and present, as well as special participants from the community.

Attendees will enjoy performances by the Lexington Traditional Magnet School Step/Hip Hop Team, Lafayette High School Step/Hip Hop Team, the Bryan Station High School Dancing Defenders and the William Wells Brown Community Center Black Diamonds Step Team and Youth. Other students from Fayette County Public Schools are invited to participate. "Knowledge of the Neighborhood" will also include a presentation honoring special members of the community center. Healthy refreshments will be provided after the program.
