Streets & Roads
Streets & Roads maintains all city and county roads, except those on the state and federal highway system. Work includes pothole repair, snow removal, street sweeping, intersection curb repair, sidewalk handicap ramp installation, routine and emergency servicing of storm sewer drains and maintenance of various bridges and certain creeks within the Urban Services Area.
Snow and ice plan
The city has a comprehensive snow and ice plan designed to keep winter roadways safe in the most reasonable, efficient and effective manner.
Pothole repairs
During normal business hours, Streets & Roads makes every effort to repair a pothole that has been reported to LexCall within 48 hours. To report a pothole on a city maintained street, contact LexCall at 311 or (859) 425-2255.

South Forbes Road closure starts on Monday
Construction work on South Forbes Road will move to the south side of Manchester Street beginning on Monday, August 30.
Milling and paving work on South Limestone starts Friday night
Milling and paving work on South Limestone between Upper Street at Scott Street and Virginia Avenue, will begin Friday evening, July 23, and extend through Friday morning, July 30.
Town Branch Commons Trail moves to Midland
Construction also continues on the Trail on Vine Street, between Rupp Arena and East Main Street.
