Bike riders of all ages invited to Bike Lexington’s Family Fun Ride on June 3

Bike riders of all ages and skill levels are invited to Bike Lexington’s Family Fun Ride this Saturday, June 3. This free event includes giveaways and prizes, a kids rodeo, a slow cycle and the Family Fun Ride— an eight-mile police-escorted bike ride in the heart of downtown.

Lexington celebrates National Bike Month!

May is National Bike Month and Lexington is geared up to celebrate!  The city is offering several programs and events for bike riders of all ages and skill levels to promote bicycling and the many health, environmental, economic and social benefits that result from riding bikes.

Help improve Lexington area’s walking and biking conditions

The Lexington Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is updating its Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan, and is seeking public input as part of that process.
