Lexington Parks & Recreation adds new event to Halloween festivities

There is a new addition to this year’s Parks & Recreation Halloween festivities. Before watching zombies dance down Main Street to Michael Jackson’s Thriller, the Wicked Wonders Art Market will feature ghoulish wares designed by local artists to thrill, chill and delight.

Little Goblins Galore Implements Parking Plan

Little Goblins Galore is a Halloween party thrown by Lexington Parks and Recreation at McConnell Springs each year that's about fun, not fright.

Pleasant Ridge dog park closed Thursday, Sept. 29

Pleasant Ridge dog park will be closed to the public on Thursday, Sept. 29 due to maintenance. Parks and Recreation staff will be treating the gravel area with a herbicide treatment. If inclement weather occurs, the park will be closed on Friday, Sept.
