The Lex Glow Ride is a parade of lights, featuring bicycles, scooters and other alternative modes of transportation. This is a free family-friendly event, with the goal of encouraging people to ride and bike safely.
This year’s Lex Glow Ride is set for Friday, November 5 at 6 p.m. The evening will begin at Coolavin Park with bike resource tables and food vendors. Glow in the dark and reflective gear will be provided while supplies last, but participants are encouraged to show up already decorated with lights and glow sticks. At 7 p.m. everyone is invited to take part in a 1.7 mile Lex Glow Ride parade along Jefferson Street, 4th Street and the Legacy Trail. The parade will be followed by Safe Streets trivia and games inside the West Sixth Beer Garden.
Registration is not required for this event.
