Whether you are considering bike commuting, recreational riding, or looking for a way to stay fit, we hope to provide you with the resources and infrastructure you need to bike and walk Lexington.

Bike Month is back this May!
Bike Month celebrates riding a bicycle for transportation, exercise and fun while reminding drivers to slow down, pay attention and share the road!
The month-long celebration will include in-person, virtual, and self-paced events hosted by the City and community partners.

StreetFest
May 11, 2024 from 10 a.m. – noon
Oliver Lewis Way between High St. and Broadway
StreetFest celebrates streets as shared, public spaces. Bring your bikes, scooters, rollerblades or boards! The event, sponsored by the Lexington Area Metropolitan Planning Organization, is modeled on the Second Sunday events that took place a decade ago. Bikes and helmets will be available to rent! Food vendors will be present. Games, competitions and much fun will be had!
