Spotlight Lexington

Become an official volunteer of Spotlight Lexington!  Volunteers will be needed in many areas both prior to and during the downtown festival.   Valvoline is the official volunteer sponsor of Spotlight Lexington.

Available volunteer positions include:

KY Market Greeter - assists during vendor set up and breakdown (2 hour shifts)

KY Market Booth Attendant - assists vendors throughout the KY Market (hours of operation Thursday - Sunday 10 am - 6 pm/4 hour shifts)

Info Booth Attendant - faciliate and answer questions about Lexington, about Kentucky and about Spotlight Lexington in a positive, helpful manner, distribute materials, restock materials, etc.  (11 am - 11 pm daily/4 hour shifts).

Patron’s Club Attendant - check credentials for entry, faciliate and answer questions regarding club hours of operation, catering, policies, assist in keeping entry and area clean, etc. (11 am - 11 pm daily/4 hour shifts).

Media Center Attendant - greet all media upon entry, direct them to available work stations, provide limited technical assistance, faciliate and answer questions about Lexington, about Kentucky and about Spotlight Lexington in a positive manner, keep area clean and presentable (11am - 11pm daily/4 hour shifts).. 

Volunteers receive the following benefits:  Official volunteer apparel, volunteer credential, opportunity to buy Spotlight Lexington merchandise at a discount, and the opportunity to be a part of Lexington’s history.
