Update Stonehaven Drive Shooting Investigation

Two people have been charged for a shooting that occurred on July 4, 2023, on Stonehaven Drive.

On July 4, 2023, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Stonehaven Drive for fireworks and possible shots fired. At the scene, officers located shell casings and property that had been struck. While officers were investigating, two males and one juvenile arrived at a local hospital suffering from reported non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

With the assistance of the Real-Time Intelligence Center, Personal Crimes detectives were able to identify two suspects.

Daquis Sharp, 27, was charged with Assault 1st Degree (Complicity) two counts and Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree (Complicity)

Jatiece Parks, 19, was also charged with Assault 1st Degree (Complicity) two counts and Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree (Complicity)

Both Sharp and Parks were arrested on February 29, 2024, after a shooting that took place on Royal Avenue. Due to the ongoing KSP officer-involved shooting investigation, any updates will be sent in a new press release.
