Long Term Traffic Impacts

UPDATE 7/21/10: Military Pike / Route 1966:

• Work scheduled to begin Thursday July 22.
• The present bridge will be demolished and a new bridge will be constructed.
• Work will include a culvert replacement.  In addition, the road on top of the bridge and approaches to the bridge will be resurfaced.
• The planned date for reopening is September 15, 2010. Please note this date is subject to change depending on weather or other unforeseen conditions.

NEWTOWN PIKE EXTENSION PROJECT:

• Cox Street is currently CLOSED at Main Street and is scheduled to reopen under the name of Newtown Pike on Wednesday 9/1/10.

East Maxwell Street between Rose St and Woodland Ave:

• Blocking the parking and right thru lanes between 7:30am and 4:30pm for sidewalk work.
• Scheduled thru 9/14/10.

Street Closure 24 Hrs/Day:

• Highland Park Drive between Meadow Lane and Oak Hill Drive - Street CLOSED to thru traffic for sewer and road repairs.  Local traffic only.  Scheduled until 12/31/10.
