Opt Out of Junk Mail 

Tired of getting lots of phonebooks you didn't ask for?

Is your mailbox full of catalogs and junk mail you don’t want?

Want to stop receiving unwanted catalogs,
junk mail and phonebooks? 


Register with any or all of these "opt out" sites to stop receiving unwanted materials:

d Sign up to eliminate the delivery of unwanted phonebooks to your doorstep. You can customize your choices by adjusting the quantities received from all companies that deliver phone books in your zip code and from which companies you’d like to continue or discontinue delivery. For example, you can indicate that you’d still like to receive just one phonebook, two phonebooks or none at all – and from which company. It’s up to you! d You can easily manage receiving catalogs here. They also offer services to eliminate phone books and junk mail. Choose any company or organization from which you no longer want to receive mailings and indicate it on the website (if you have a catalog, have it with you when you’re signing up. Having a code on the address label may help you pinpoint it faster). You can even track the total amount of environmental benefits that have been generated by everyone who has signed up! Direct Mail
This site helps you easily manage your mail – catalogs, junk mail, magazines and credit offers. You can find any company and directions on how to contact them in order to be removed from their list. Some companies even offer more limited mailings or the choice of simply switching to email offers instead. There is also an option to opt out of all catalogs, all credit offers, all magazine offers or all junk mail offers (unless you’ve purchased or donated from a company – you’ll have to contact that company directly to be removed from their list). a Call the Do Not Call Registry from the phone number you want to register to stop any unwanted calls from credit card companies. This lasts for up to five years.

Please keep in mind that it may take up to six months for you to notice a reduction in mail.
