Ways to pay

The LEXserv bill will be sent out to you by the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government starting in September 2012. There are many payment options, but the easiest is AutoPay, where your LEXserv fees are deducted automatically from your bank account on the payment due date.

 Why the change

These fees were previously billed by Kentucky American Water Company (KAWC); however, KAWC has chosen to discontinue billing city services and will no longer provide billing and payment support for LFUCG customers. Customers will now receive two bills: one from LFUCG, known as the 'LEXserv bill', for the city service fees - and one from KAWC for water service and consumption. Same fees, same rates, just two bills. Customers have been paying these fees all along - the only change is that the fees are now billed separately by the city.
