Recycling is a free service to any business or apartment complex in Lexington-Fayette County's urban services area. Help reduce your waste by starting or expanding a recycling program. Bluegrass PRIDE can help your business or apartment complex get recycling bins, find locations for recycling bins and can educate your staff and residents about what is and isn't recyclable. Bluegrass PRIDE can also help your business or apartment complex complete a waste audit to see how much of your trash could be recycled.

Water Partner

Businesses and apartment complexes can have a tremendous effect on water quality in Lexington. Many of the problems surrounding water quality are due to stormwater runoff coming from rain and snow melt thta washes pollutants and litter into our creeks and streams. Other problems arise from materials being disposed of improperly. Bluegrass PRIDE can help you learn more about water conservation, the FOG (fats, oil and grease) Program, sanitary sewer maintenance, storm drain stenciling, rain barrels and gardens and other ways to improve Lexington's water quality.
