Participating businesses and apartment complexes will receive:
- Personal visit and assistance on how to get the program started
- Help with assessing specific issues or needs on your property
- Waste audit, if requested
- Materials to promote recycling, such as posters, magnets and keychains
- Promotional materials available in both English and Spanish for your employees, residents and/or staff
- Presentations for residents and employees on recycling/waste reduction, water improvement initiatives and/or energy efficiency
- Inclusion on Bluegrass PRIDE's website
- Inclusion on Live Green Lexington (LFUCG's Department of Environmental Quality)
Participating businesses and apartment complexes will benefit by:
- Wastebuster Partners will receive recognition through Business Lexington
- Water Partners will be enetered to win a free rain barrel for use on their property
- Energy Partners will receive two free admissions to PRIDE's Annual Go Green, Save Green Workshop
- Receiving publicity
- Improving the local environment around your business or apartment complex
