Outstanding Citizen Award Recipient
February 2- Mayor Jim Newberry presented the "Outstanding Citizen" award to James C. Smith during the Urban County Council Work Session. Smith, a crossing guard with Fayette County Public Schools, heroically stood in harm's way to protect a young student from being struck by an approching vehicle while walking to school. |
