Required Documents & Board Training

Thank you for your commitment to our community through your service on one of Lexington-Fayette County's boards or commissions. As a recent appointee of a board or commission, you are required to receive a copy of the KRS 61.805- 61.850, Open Meeting Act; KRS 61.780- 61.884, Open Records Act and KRS 171.410- 171.840, State Archives and Records Act. Additionally, we are required to maintain on file a signed copy of the Cerificate of Receipt of Written Documentation.

Board Training

On March 13, 2012, Mayor Jim Gray hosted a Boards and Commissions Training at the UK Albert B. Chandler Hospital Auditorium which focused on the design and implementation of internal controls, open records and financial processes. Presentations were made by the Kentucky Auditor's Office, Lexington Law Department and the Lexington Internal Audit Division.
