10 am – 5 pm, Sunday, August 16, 2015
Every August for nearly four decades, Woodland Park has been transformed into a venue filled with over 200 artists and craftspeople selling unique, handcrafted items including ceramics, wood, jewelry, painting, metal, fiber, mixed media and photography. Voted a top 50 Fine Arts & Design Fair by Sunshine Artist Magazine, a top ten festival by the Kentucky Tourism Council and a top ten event by the Southeast Tourism Society, this event attracts more than 60,000 patrons each year. In addition to the art, there will be live entertainment, free hands-on art activities for children and families and a variety of food vendors.
Three shuttles (including one wheelchair-accessible) will be circulating every 10 minutes. Patrons should park in the LexTran Transit Center (enter from E. High Street near Lexington Ave. and MLK Blvd.), the Phoenix parking lot or the Lexington Herald-Leader front parking lot.
For those not walking or driving to the park, a bike check will be available at the tennis practice court on High Street.
