Congratulations to Captain Tina Strange and Lieutenant Nicholas Elko on their promotions. Captain Strange and Lieutenant Elko have been assigned to 2nd Shift Custody Operations.
Graduation Class FY14-01
On October 11, 2013 the Division of Community Corrections had a graduation class of 20 recruits that will begin there new careers as Correctional Officers. The Division welcomes them to the family and hopes they have many successful endeavors as members of the Community Correction team.
Corrections Officers Help with Community Clean-up
On November 13, 2013 Community Corrections Officers and Recruit Class 1402 participated along with other division of Public Safety with the "We Care-Love Your Neighborhood Event". Officers assisted both property owners and occupants with cleaning out brush, fence rows, trimming of trees and trash pickup. We thank all the officers and recruits who were able to dedicate there time and hard work for this project.
CORRECTIONS MOST WANTED
On December 10, 2011 Inmate Joseph Wilson failed to return to the Fayette County Detention Center from a court order pass. Mr. Wilson is currently charged with Contempt of Court and Escape 2nd.
