Lexington will host a free 17 day festival in the heart of downtown in conjunction with the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. The festival “Spotlight Lexington” will include various types of entertainment, food and the opportunity to experience the World Equestrian Games even if you can’t make it to the Horse Park! VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers will be needed in many areas both prior to and during the downtown festival. If you would like to volunteer for the downtown festival please click the link below. It is important to note: This volunteer form is NOT a form for volunteering at the Kentucky Horse Park or World Equestrian Games.
ENTERTAINMENT
There will be three main venues at Spotlight Lexington: Triangle Park, Cheapside Park and the main stage at Robert F. Stephens Courthouse Plaza. The main stage will host remedaling ceremonies and nightly concerts. Lunch time activities in the courthouse plaza will include a live feed from the Horse Park projected onto a jumbo tron.
