School Doors Open!

Dear Friend,

The school doors open tomorrow.  That means that today is the perfect time to salute the people who, year after year, make an incredible difference in our community:

• First our great educators and the talented staff that supports their work.  Lexington has won a long string of national rankings for the education it offers its young people, and the support it gives its families.  A few of them have been compiled here by Commerce Lexington because of the enormous impact of a good education on our ability to bring good companies and good jobs to our city.
  
  
• Next, our parents.  As any teacher knows, parents are vitally important to the successful education team.  Our parents value and support education.  That's why school parking lots are always overflowing on nights parents are invited in to learn more about what their children are learning.
